Note for your weekend errands: Fort Collins going to be performing emergency repairs to the railroad at Prospect Road and College Avenue.

The BNSF railroad crossing at Prospect will be fully closed on Friday, Aug. 20. Repairs are scheduled to start at eight in the morning and, weather permitting, are hopefully going to be finished by the afternoon.

If you need to get into the shopping center off Prospect and College, access will be available from College Avenue. Additionally, any bikes or pedestrians using the Mason Trail should plan to detour to Center Avenue and Lake Street.

The MAX will also be detoured around the construction. Due to this, it will not be making stops at the Drake, Spring Creek, Prospect, and University stations. They will have temporary stops along College to make up for not being able to make those stops.
