You can call it a comeback. It's called 'Colorado Comeback Cash' in conjunction with the Colorado Lottery and the Colorado Department of Health and Environment.

At first, it sounded like Colorado might just do one drawing, if any drawing at all, to help entice Coloradans to get vaccinated against COVID-19, but It's been announced by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) that there will indeed be FIVE drawings.

Each of the five drawings, over five weeks, will be for $1 million for those over the age of 18; those under 18 will be set up with a scholarship which they are still working out.

The five drawings will be held:

JUNE 4

JUNE 11

JUNE 18

JUNE 25

JULY 7

According to CDPHE, the money is coming from federal funds, and you must be a living resident of Colorado to win.

CDPHE notes that it does take a few days for the vaccination information to make it into the system to be a part of each drawing, so the sooner you get vaccinated, the more assured you can be that you have a shot at the cash- Colorado Comeback Cash.

This will be for everyone who's been vaccinated, not only those vaccinated after the news of the drawings came out.

Considering that I spend $5-10 a week on lottery tickets, I'm excited for this. Though I can see others being 'not as' excited.
