This week will be mostly sunny with highs in the 30s, but by this weekend, Fort Collins could see a low below zero.

According to the National Weather Service, arctic air (which you may have noticed blew in late Sunday night) 'will lurk' in the area this week, and make for much colder temps on Thursday and Friday.

The National Weather Service predicts a low around zero on Friday night and a a low around three degrees on Saturday (the high is only expected to be 19), but The Weather Channel is reporting subzero overnight temperatures, dropping as low as negative nine on Saturday. Regardless, it's not going to be a play outside weekend.
