Northern Colorado law enforcement works hard day and night to keep our cities and towns safe. Whether they're assisting citizens or fighting crime, their jobs are anything but easy.

One of their challenges is tracking down suspects on the Most Wanted list. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office continually updates their Most Wanted list, giving citizens the chance to provide any information, such as the whereabouts or other details, regarding any of the alleged criminals.

This week, Larimer County's most wanted is Ryan Jay Esquibel.

Esquibel is wanted by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office on multiple felony warrants. His first warrant is for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender. The second felony warrant is for Failure to Appear – Fail to Register as a Sex Offender. Esquibel's third felony warrant is for Failure to Appear – Criminal Impersonation – Gain a Benefit / Driving Without Drivers License / Fail to Display Headlamps. He has no bond.

The suspect is also wanted by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office on a several misdemeanor warrants. These are for Failure to Appear – Possess Controlled Substance / Possess Drug Paraphernalia, and Failure to Appear – Possess Controlled Substance.

In addition, Esquibel is wanted by another local agency for Failure to Appear – Att Possess Controlled Substance / 3rd Degree Assault.

Esquibel is six-feet-two and 173 pounds. He has brown hair with eyes and has been known to go by the aliases of Luke Jay Garcia and Luke Esquibel.

The sheriff's office says he is known to be a transient in the Fort Collins area.
