Typically for this feature, we focus on one particular athlete but for THIS week, we're doing something a little different because, this is a different situation.

The Thompson Valley High School girls volleyball team is being recognized for MORE than just on court accomplishments..oh yeah, they're doing an awesome job there especially with the challenges that COVID has thrown at them but what they've been fighting through off the court is something that I feel is even more impressive.

A little over a week ago, two of the members of the TVHS volleyball team (Emily and Zoe Rollins) were involved in a very serious car accident in Loveland and suffered severe injuries that were life threatening.

While the sisters are recovering, their teammates are doing Emily and Zoe proud by playing with an extra sense of purpose and drive as they make their way to the state regionals this weekend.

I'd like to thank McKenna Crews and Jordan Duzenack for taking some time and allowing us to get to know them and the Thompson Valley High School Girls Volleyball team a little better as they continue to fight during this crazy season. They are this week's Townsquare Media's High School MVP.
