It's a difficult time to be a restaurant owner in Northern Colorado.

In April, Loveland's beloved eatery Nordy's BBQ & Grill announced that it would be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays due to a staffing shortage. Now, another local restaurant is following suit.

In a Wednesday (May 4) Facebook post, Fat Albert's Restaurant, a famous diner in Greeley, revealed that it's also limiting its hours due to a staffing shortage in the kitchen.

Starting on Tuesday (May 10), the eatery will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. While the restaurant has always closed on Sundays and Mondays, it previously stayed open until 8 p.m.

"We will return to our normal business hours as soon as we have enough kitchen staff," read the post. "If you know anyone looking to help, have them fill out an application in person!"

Interested applicants can apply at 1717 23rd Avenue in Greeley. Known for its sandwiches and award-winning desserts, Fat Albert's Restaurant has been a Northern Colorado staple since 1982.
