HAZMAT and Poudre Fire Respond to Semi Crash in Fort Collins
Fort Collins Police responded to a crash on Riverside Avenue this morning involving a semi-truck.
According to the report, the semi-truck struck a light pole on College and Jefferson.
Shortly after police arrived on the scene, Poudre Fire and the HAZMAT team also responded with assistance.
This is an ongoing incident, and we will continue to update the story as more details are released.
Update: The Hazmat Team has mitigated the diesel fuel leak that resulted from the crash. They were sure to block any access the fuel would have had to storm drains. All units have cleared the scene.
