Celebrating its 10th anniversary in existence, the Colorado Music Hall of Fame's latest inductees include four legendary bands and one venue.

The next time that you visit Red Rocks, whether it be to see a concert or to just enjoy the trails and campus, be sure to stop in at the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. While the Hall of Fame has been around for 10 years, it's only been a part of Red Rocks (inside of the Trading Post) since 2015, after starting out inside of 1stBank Center in Broomfield.

The Colorado Music Hall of Fame is made up of volunteer board members with only one full time employee. Its mission is to highlight and celebrate musicians and institutions that have made a mark on Colorado's music history.

The 40 inductees that are the Hall of Fame currently include Phillip Bailey, Dan Fogelberg, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Red Rocks and Barry Fey. It's great to see the list of artists and venues that get selected each year.

Each year's inductees has a theme; the 2021 class' theme is 'The Flatiron Sessions' as they all center around Bluegrass and the Boulder area. The bands inducted are some of the biggies that we've had around the state, not just Boulder, for years; the venue has been voted one the country's top 10.
