Two People Remain Missing From the Devastation of the Marshall Fire

With devastation from the Marshall Fire in Boulder County still being felt through the community, two reported missing people still remain.

In a press conference on Sunday, Boulder County Sheriff Joe Pelle announced that out of the three originally reported people missing, one was found alive. Pelle confirmed that the missing person found was a male, but has not released any further information, as confirmed by CBS Denver.

Authorities have reportedly been using cadaver dogs to aid in the search for the missing people. However, officials have commented on the difficulty of the search with the snow, even though the winter weather was a relieving blessing.

In addition to the search for the missing members of the community, authorities have also launched an investigation into the cause of the fire. According to The Denver Post, they have narrowed the origin of the fire down to a single neighborhood, as confirmed by Sheriff Pelle in Sunday's press conference.
