How Sinful Is Colorado? Surprisingly, We’re Ranked Pretty High
How much "sin" comes from Colorado? A recent survey has Colorado ranked in the Top 20 in the nation for most sinful states. Really?
Colorado Ranked As A Top Sinner State
By definition, a sinner is "a person who transgresses against divine law by committing an immoral act or acts." I wouldn't call myself a serial sinner, but I certainly color outside of the lines. Not lying necessarily, but we all, well probably 99.9% of us bend the rules here and there, it just happens. As far as sinning statewide though, how do you think Colorado ranks compared to the other stations? Higher than you might think...
How Sinful Is Colorado?
WalletHub did some digging to find out which states were the most "sinful" across the entire U.S. based on "immoral or illicit" behavior. A few of the biggest examples of what they looked at were data on gambling problems, violent crime numbers, and excessive drug and alcohol use. Vices, greed, lust, and more were also a part of their ranking system. Here's where Colorado ranked...
Colorado Is The 17th Most Sinful State In The United States
Yup, Wallethub found that Colorado is the 17th most sinful state in the entire country. The Top 3 states for sinning are Louisiana at number three (that's a surprise to me), California at number two, and number one, which isn't a surprise to anyone, in Nevada. Of course, the home of "Sin City" would be at the very top. Good news to our neighbors to the north though as Wyoming was ranked as the nation's lowest sinful state. Somebody better get them a billboard. See the full map below to see where the others landed.
